• Building a Strong Organizing Committee

• Issue Organizing for Transportation Workers

• Office Assistants at the Bargaining Table

• Union-Community Alliances

• What it Takes to Win: Campaign Overviews from Albemarle and Montgomery County

Day Two – Campaign Simulations

During this role play scenario, you’ll get to practice organizing with other VEA members to win better working conditions. In this intense, real-life based simulation, we condense a months-long campaign into just a few hours so that when you return to your local, you’ll be prepared for whatever curveballs the school division throws at you.

Day Three – A Collective Vision: Organizing for Change

Envision the future of Virginia’s public schools. Tell us how you believe w e can use union power to achieve our goals.
